Application: PTFE non-stick coated wires are intended for electrical or electronic use in protected applications where high temperature will be encountered. The wires have excellent resistance to thermal aging, solder iron damage, flame, and moisture. PTFE coating also resists solvents, greases, ozone and most other chemicals. These wires are easy to install due to their small size and slippery surface. PTFE has excellent, stable electrical characteristics with low power loss, making it ideal for high frequency applications.

WesBell Electronics offers PTFE teflon wire and cable in 250 Volts, 600 Volts and 1000 Volts. Teflon wire has silver-plated copper strands with a 200 degrees Celsius teflon jacket. The 600 Volt Type E lead wire is the most popular but if your application only calls for 250 volts then you can save money by getting Type ET instead.
Teflon wire is commonly used for indoor or outdoor applications where a high temperature is required. If you're looking for something without the high temperature try our Electrical wire or Hook up Wire. It's a lot cheaper and more flexible. WesBell will cut and strip teflon wires to any length and also stripe or twist upon request. Please call for a quote on wire or cable harnesses. We also offer FREE SHIPPING over $250.00.
