THHN Wire

THHN wire, which is always dual rated with THWN wire, is a type of electrical wire used by electrical contrators. It's a one conductor bare copper wire that comes either stranded or solid. Even the stranded version isn't very flexible. It's meant to be stiff for installation in conduit or tray. It's made with a PVC jacket and a nylon coating to make it slippery for easier install into conduit. It's by far the most popular wire in the electrical wire field.
