This WesBell DLO cable contains tinned copper strands and is dual insulated with ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) and chlorinated polyethylene (CPE). This double layer of insulation adds protection for severe outdoor conditions, such as in mining and earthmoving equipment installations. It also helps the cable resist oil, acids, alkalies, heat, flame and sunlight for comprehensive protection from the elements.
This cable is rated for 2,000 volts and 904 amps, with a temperature rating of 90 degrees Celsius. The 777 in the name comes from its American Wire Gauge (AWG) rating, while MCM refers to its outer measurement of 1.5 square millimeters. It features one powerful conductor and 1,924 strandings. Even with such a large cable size, the 24-gauge copper strands still offer enough flexibility for power leads in conduit and raceways.
